Online Auction Terms and Conditions

All online sales are being offered for sale as is and may have defects which will require repair.  The College does not warrant the quality or safety of these items nor their compliance with appropriate Provincial or Federal regulations.  Removal of the item(s) is the sole responsibility of the successful bidder. 

IT items that have multiple listings of the same product but have the same details and specs may be listed with one photo.  The photo used for the auction may not be the exact item that is purchased but will be the same make and model.   

Successful bidders are to make all payments at the Student Services front desk at the Lac La Biche campus and then produce their paid receipt to the Bookstore for pick-up of the item(s).  Portage College does not accept cheques as payment.  

Successful bidders must present their winning auction email to Student Services to make a payment. 

Successful bidders have 5 business days to pay and pick up their item(s).  All payments and pickups must be within business hours, 8:15am - 4:30pm Mon-Fri, excluding holidays. 

If an item is not picked up within the 5 business days the item will go back up for auction, regardless of any money paid. 

*Please note that if a bid is placed within the last minute of an auction additional time will be added to the auction to provide fair bidding to all involved.
